Jim's Burgers, located at 800 Pierce St in Sioux City, IA, serves up a solid blend of American and Mexican-inspired dishes in a laid-back setting. The brand stands out in the hamburger restaurant category by offering more than just classic burgers — from wet burritos and breakfast favorites like steak & eggs to unique sides such as zucchini fries, Jim’s caters to a broad audience seeking hearty, freshly made meals.

Food is good, atmosphere is laid back. Food was hot and order was right. The pastor is not my favorite, but it was cooked right. Staff is friendly. It’s been a while since I’ve been here, but will probably come back a little more often.

The food is good. Have never tried the Mexican food, but i hear good things. My go to is any burger combo. (Burger, fries, drink). The fries are excellent. The burger is okay-its a thin beef patty with extra toppings sandwiched between a thick sesame bun. Their breakfast is great too. The service is good and the staff are pretty respectful.

Great place! Nice variety on the menu and staff was super friendly! Wet burrito was excellent. The pico inside of it is spicy though!

I stopped in and tried the Western Burger — nice size patty topped with cheese , BBQ sauce, bacon , plenty of pickles , and a big crispy onion ring . Add in a large order of hot fries and the whole meal came in under $15 — not a bad deal at all . • Western Burger – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (juicy, flavorful, great toppings) • Pickles – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (plenty and fresh) • Onion Ring – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (big and perfectly fried) • Fries – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (hot, no complaints) • Atmosphere – ⭐⭐ (could use some improvement, more on the casual side) Looks like they also serve Mexican food , but I came for the burger and left satisfied. For the price, size, and quality, I’d say Jim’s is a solid choice — and yes, I’d return again

This place is Mexican owned and run, but don’t let that stop you from getting your American food from here. They do a good job regardless on what kind of food they make up. At least in my experiences. For the sides, all are cooked to order and the fries are thick and slightly seasoned, the onion rings are like you would find in a quality restaurant. Their fried zucchini is made fresh. The burgers are big, filling, and very good. Things are made to order, so everything comes out borderline too hot to touch. They are pretty quick to get your food out considering it’s made fresh. So regardless on if you’re in the mood for a carnitas taco, an asada burrito, or a western burger, you can come here with the likelihood that you’ll be happy with your meal. If you get the western, you won’t end up with one tiny onion ring like some places. You’ll get 3-4 decent sized ones.

This place was recommended to us by a local friend. Their prices are reasonable, the food is amazing and the gal that took care of us was so personable. I find it sad that they had to post a sign clarifying that they cannot rectify issues after you've eaten or taken your food. I assume it's because people have tried to scam them into refunds which is sad. They're a great little business.
